About Yelahanka

Yelahanka is a partially developed and upcoming prime piece of real estate in northern Bangalore. It is a well-connected locality close to the airport and the downtown area. It is connected well to the other parts of the city, including the main IT corridor and other employment hubs. Yelahanka Bangalore enjoys splendid physical, retail, and social infrastructure, making it one of the most prized real estate destinations. The Yelahanka pin codes are 560063 and 560064. Yelahanka is one of the oldest parts of the city. Historians estimate that the city has existed since the rule of the Cholas in the 12th century. Back then, the area was a small city known as Ilaipakka Naadu, which was later changed to Elavanka. It is only in recent years that the name was changed to Yelahanka. The area is famous for an ancient temple and watchtowers built in four directions. There are plenty of smaller sub-localities and housing societies that make up Yelahanka. It has a diverse demographic, with the majority being Hindu. There are also Christians, Muslims, and Jews in the area, living in complete harmony with each other. Most people here are salaried professionals in the IT industry, with plenty of small business owners and homemakers. A portion of the population is self-employed.

Yelahanka is a peaceful locality with good connectivity. You can get bus stops nearby and the auto services are good. There are cafes and tea stalls for my evening hangout after work.

I love the green spaces and parks in Yelahanka. It is a great spot for people who enjoy nature. It is a bit far from my office and still, I chose to stay here for the friendly atmosphere I guess. The commute is manageable if you have your own transport. Traffic becomes a major issue though.

Yelahanka has a lot to offer for families. There are good schools, plenty of parks, and a very quiet environment. The metro station is far away as of now. Waiting for the completion of Yelahanka Metro works.
