About Bellandur

Bangalore's southeastern suburb, Bellandur, is in Karnataka. West, east, south, and north are HSR Layout, Devarabisanahalli, Sarjapur Road, and Bellandur Lake. Roads, trains, and buses link the neighbourhood to the city. The Outer Ring Road crosses through Bellandur, a critical link between east and south Bangalore. Bellandur pin code is 560103. Popular locations around Bellandur include HSR Layout, Sarjapur Road, Marathahalli, Electronic City, and Koramangala.

Once rural, Bellandur changed with the IT boom. IT parks and tech enterprises make Bellandur a tech hotspot. Archaeological finds unearthed alongside the Bellandur Lake's bed provide proof of prehistoric human habitation in the area. Bellandur is home to dolmens, standing stones, stone circles, tools, and other relics that date back to the Megalithic Era. Ancient Roman coins were discovered in the area in 1945 during another dig conducted by historian D.R. Gordon.

Most residents are young professionals. Bellandur is metropolitan and fast-paced. The region contains several restaurants, cafés, and shopping centres for locals. Because Bellandur has multiple special economic zones, it is a popular residential region for workers in Bangalore's finance and information technology (IT) sectors. The region celebrates Diwali, Holi, and Christmas. Temples, churches, and mosques dot the region.
